Trevor Meyerowitz, RPT, Physical Therapist
Trevor Meyerowitz is an experienced physical therapist with over three decades of expertise. Originally from South Africa, he studied dentistry at Wits Dental School before earning his B.Sc. in Physiotherapy in 1990. He is certified in Total Motion Release (TMR) for pain relief and Vestibular Rehabilitation for vertigo and dizziness.
Trevor moved to the USA in 1999 and settled in Boca Raton, Florida, where he established Preferred Physical Therapy in 2006. Motivated by a passion for personalized care, he created a facility that integrates physical, occupational, and speech therapy, treating patients like family. His team has helped thousands of patients from Boca Raton, Deerfield, Parkland, Coconut Creek, and beyond, including professional athletes in tennis, ice hockey, and football.
In 2025, Trevor transferred ownership of Preferred Physical Therapy to David Levkovich, but he continues to treat patients, sharing his expertise in orthopedic care, pain relief, and vestibular rehabilitation.
Trevor’s favorite part of therapy is helping patients achieve lasting results, whether it’s relieving chronic pain, correcting posture, or resolving vertigo in just a few sessions.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys tennis, golf, table tennis, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
