Raquel C. Rangel, PT, MPT, MA, Clinical Director
Raquel is the Clinical Director at Preferred Physical Therapy and an experienced physical therapist specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation, postural re-education, neurological impairments, and pulmonary rehab. She earned her Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy in 1999 in Brazil, a Specialization in Orthopedics in 2001, and a Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2004.
Raquel has worked in multiple clinics and managed her own practice while also teaching Anatomy and Kinesiology at two universities in Brazil. She has delivered community lectures, hospital seminars, and appeared on local TV, sharing her expertise with diverse audiences.
As Clinical Director, Raquel is passionate about guiding patients through every stage of therapy and celebrating their progress and success. Since moving to the USA, she has studied English and earned a Master’s in Biblical Studies and Theology at SFBC.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, teaching, and spending time with her husband and two boys.
