Melia Diana


Melia graduated from the prestigious Fitness Institute International with her CPTS, holding numerous specialist certifications. She has over 12 years’ experience as a certified personal trainer under the American College of Sports Medicine, one of the top personal trainer certifications in the country. She attended the Cooper Institute in Dallas Texas, to receive her certificate in Functional Movement Systems (FMS), a screening tool used to identify limitations and asymmetries, measuring 7 different movement patterns with corrective exercises. Melia’s interest to further her career stemmed from not only her passion for helping people but undergoing invasive knee surgery, this began her journey to physical therapy to advance her knowledge of the anatomical human body.

Melia graduated from South University with her degree in Physical Therapist Assisting in 2011. She has spent over 7 years working in outpatient orthopedic settings treating acute/chronic injuries, pre/post –operative joint replacement surgeries, sports and work-related injuries, neurological and vestibular disorders, with patients of all ages. Her treatment philosophy is integrated with a gentle yet effective approach to her unique manual skills. Melia’s passion for the fitness and medical field drive her to further her career by taking cutting edge continuing education courses.

In her spare time, Melia enjoys the beach, church, writing, and spending time with her family.
